Here's our June downloadable pattern or the Itty Bitty Quilts book, the construction of the June Itty Bitty is probably the most detailed of all the Itty Bittys, however, it’s just SO cute! It is so Summery and luscious. To see how it's made, click over to Notions here!

when I get some extra time  I am going to make this block and a few of the past ones. I would love the book, but I have paper pieced book of blocks through the year . Have not made a block from it yet. We got the warm weather but it is going to be cold again. I can not believe the snow up north.

Did you hand dyed and felt the wool? I got lots of old clothes, that here in the south is too warm to wear I would love to play with dye doing something with them. Especially since I am crazy about quilting.

Hello Linda...

I love sewing with wool and all of it is hand dyed and felted. Once the wool is felted it seals the edges so you can work with raw edges. I'm not sure if it's different from wool suits, but it's lovely to use in appliqué and small projects like this one. Your hands are not spent with the wool as long.

That is so cute. What is like to sew wool? Do you have problems with bulk and the edges? Wool suits were hard on my hands. Is this felt wool different?
