Quilt With Us

Last big shopping weekend and we all could use some inner peace...

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all  use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard  on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, "The  way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and  have never finished."

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't  finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a  bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the  remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some  Doritos, a box of chocolates, and the last bit of the tequila.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
Pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace
Believe me it works!!!! Get sewing girls...I'm done and in no conditions to be around meedles!

Is he crazy?  He obviously doesn't know any quilters.  I have so many quilt tops to be quilted, projects to be finished - then quilted, then all the binding, not to mention blocks in stacks, kits to sew, antique quilts to repair, etc.

Pam - I really don't think I will start finishing off the bar: 1/2 lg bottle 194 proof Ever Clear, 4 bottles of Apple Pie (other 1/2 bottle of Ever Clear in that), 3 different types of McClennan single malt scotch, 4 hip flasks with something???, bottle of Marsala - for cooking like Graham Kerr.

Oh fiddle - I guess I need to start somewhere, 1 freshly opened lg bottle of tequila, want to come help with it, since you finished yours.

Oh Pam you are such a hoot.  I passed on the other "rookie cecipe"I mean "cookie recipe" to friends and family and have had a great response.  Now when I pass this one on they'll think I'm the cats meow.  Well, not really but it doesnt hurt my ego to think that.  ha

I can buy into this!  I can't imagine a day not sprinkled in humor.  Keep it coming, Pam!

That is great; it reminds me of the email with the tequila Christmas cake recipe.

Somebody sent this to me in an e-mail last year and I laughed myself silly!  I posted it in my sewing room for those times I need a chuckle, it's great advice! LOL!

Merry Christmas!
