Quilt With Us

Been spending the day packing what I think can not be replaced. The fire is headed our way. I have been using my stash to wrap around my family antiques. The forest fire is headed our way and there is no stopping her. One thing I want all of you to remember, please take pictures of everything in your home. Open drawers and doors to show what you have. We have an awesome insurance company and they said as you leave your home make sure you have a picture of everything you have left behind. Makes it so much easier to work with the wonderful adjuster. This is something all of you need to do and put those pictures in a safe place. You never know. You may not have the chance or time we have had.

Oh my how very terrible for you and your family. I am with everyone here, I pray that your home will stay intact and you are just being evacuated as a precaution.

Lori, thoughts and prayers are with you. You are probably unplugged and off line and in a safe place by now. Keep us posted.

Lori...Prayers for your safety and that of your neighbors.  Please update us as soon as you can.  I hope your home stays safe also and that the evacuation turns out to be a precaution.

Thank you everyone. You are awesome.I feel your prayers. Been given final notice to evacuate so will unplug computer and head out with the last of our stuff. DH will head to Wyoming tomorrow to bring back our 5th wheel so we will have somewhere to live. Thank you again and will keep in touch when I can.

Lori, I just viewed the photos of your quilts all of which are just beautiful; your handquilting and FMQ are exquisite!  You sure have a knack for color combinations in your projects.

Also, so sorry to hear that your area is in danger of fire.  You sound so brave and accepting what you have no control over.  God bless you and yours in this trying time; be safe.

Lori,  Reading your post brought tears to my eyes and a very heavy heart.  I really hope that you and everyone else are safe, all other items can be replaced, keep us posted and please let us all know if we can be of help.

You are in my prayers - so glad you will be safe away from the fire and I sincerely hope that you are able to return and find your home just as you left it.  I can't imagine this difficult time.  Please know we are all thinking of you and praying!

Lori, I hope and pray that the fire misses your home and that you all can return home safely! I keep hoping for fall and rain.

Lori, thanks for this information.  I pray I never have to experience what your facing.  It's also my prayer that this fire will be under control before it reaches your neighborhood.  Good thinking, using your stash to wrap your valuable pocessions.  Your not only protecting your valuables but also taking your stash with you.
