I thought some of you would like to see my grand daughter Lucy now.

Lucy found a little garden spot on the veranda where a flowers used to grow. She has discovered the delights of digging and drawing with chalk. Her favourite toy is always with her - Lamby in his bag.

Gee she is so cute.

I still have my "Ellie" elephant from childhood.  Lucy is so adorable.  Looks like she's taking after grandma with her interests too!

Just the best kid ever!  You are so lucky to have an apprentice in the garden.

She is a doll! I love that she is "gardening" already! May she never give it up.

Carol-I love that Flat Bear went to college. I made a flannel blanket for a friend's baby girl many years ago. That blankie went to college, too.

What could be better--a little water, a little dirt and a precious girl with her Lamby?

How precious!  Love how attached she is to that lamb...so funny that they choose one stuffed animal or doll over all the rest.  Bet Lamby will be her buddy for a long time.  My daughter took "Flat Bear" to college with her.  (He got his name from the fact that extra hugging made him - well, flat of course.  She would NOT let me add any stuffing; just loved him the way he was.)

Very cute. I love this age where they are discovering so many ways to enjoy themselves.  Digging in the dirt and playing in a puddle of water seems to be high on their list of fun things to do.

She is adorable Sandy.  I love how she is holding on to her lamb for dear life at the same time she is digging in the dirt & drawing with chalk.
