Quilt With Us

I hope that everyone had a good week.  Mine was going o k until I pulled a muscle on, I think, Wednesday.  I have had a hard time moving since.

I did complete what I was doing for Easter.

These are for our grandson.  He should be cutting teeth by now.  I will find out next weekend or soon there after.  I have been invited to come stay with him so his mom and dad can have a day to themselves.  They need a break.  I am sure most, if not all of, you can relate at sometime in your lives, especially if you had children.

I experimented with a new embroidery application this week.  It sounded difficult and I was not sure I wanted to do it.  But you don't really know until you try.  Someone did this as a swap in another group.  Since I had other things to do and I did not know how to do it, I did not partake.  Then last week Embroidery Library did a tutorial and put some designs on sale.  So, guess what I did, LOL.  I watched the video and bought a couple of designs.  It is called Cut Work'. (EASY to do)

Now I need to find things I can do with these.  The above are just my first tries on each one.

Well, that is about it for this week.  The crafts were done before the pulled muscle.  I was not up to anything else after.  I am healing now.  I felt a lot better starting this afternoon.  At least I was able to walk today without extensive pain.

Have a Spirit Led week

Blessings to all

TThe cut work embroidery is very pretty!  Hope you are back to 100% soon.

I am doing better today as far as the pulled muscle goes.  I have been able to 'clean up' my dining room/sewing table.  It had everything piled up on it.  Yesterday morning I could barely walk, much less bend, stoop, carry, lift,...

Thank you all.

I'm glad you were able to accomplish your projects before you pulled a muscle.  Hope your feeling better soon.
