Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of my QWU family and friends. I didn't realize it has been so long since my last post! I read each and every one of the posts that you send and so much as been going on! Whew!
I have been making most of my gifts this year and it has given me a great feeling of accomplishment! I have even tackled quilting (albeit stitch in the ditch) on a couple of my lap quilts. Maybe the next step will be actual "quilting". I even designed my own quilt, very simple, but I love it! Pictures after Christmas since it is a gift for someone!
My life has been crazy over the past six months, I quit a job that I devoted 9 months to and it just wasn't the right fit. Now looking for another one, not easy for a 58 year old. Requirements for something as simple as a receptionist includes a 4 year degree, which I don't have. Oh, well I am sure I am being lead on a path that I am supposed to be on, so I will have to be patient to see where I am being lead!
Well, enough from me, after all it is Christmas Eve! All of my baking is done, and I did a boat load of it yesterday! Today is a day of being thankful for all I have, my many blessings, my friends and family and time to reflect on those as well.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
