Merry Christmas to all our family of quilters and people who sew...We are keeping a low profile and will continue to spread our Christmas cheer right here in North Carolina at home.
We wish you all a very Happy Healthy New Year..and I hope you get all you UFO's done...or at least somewhat finished. And start some great quilts that will change someone's life..That's what I want to do.
I did one of our challenges at our guild, started January of last year and I got about 7 quilts out of 12 finished. I am proud of myself. I did good.!
I will continue to pursue the art of "doing it better than I did last time" and "finish what I have started." and I hopes I don't run out of steam in February...LOL!
I wish you get lots of fabric for the new opportunities you are going to quilt this coming year. I already have a new pkg. of Connecting threads kit, so I have lots of ideas coming my way already..
I found out my brother who I saw when I was 10 yrs old and then found him in 2005...(Long story) He called me last week,,,and told me of all his journeys of his life...........was in the Navy. Plus lots of other details that I never knew, and that touched my heart.
So I may give him one of my quilts,,its the new pkg. that my daughter gave me for Christmas,,Ye-Ha! So you know who is going to get that one..? Don't tell...
I have had a great year, and I have been blessed beyond...I have so much fabric. This may be the year I am going to be quilting for people who have been in the service,...Yup, I think I just may do that....It seems like when you write out your dreams on paper/computer,, it gets to be a little clearer...
Well be good,,stay in your sewing rooms and lets make this a great year.
I am very inspired by you all..you encourage me so much...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to one and all.!
and to the ones that write to me, weather on a daily basis or keep in touch every once in a while,,I treasure your friendship more than you know...You light up my life...
Hugs all around,
