Quilt With Us

Merry Christmas to my CT family & friends

Hello yawl,

I just wanted to say, "Merry Christmas!" to everyone.  It has been a while since I have posted anything but I'm on the site all the time.  I hadn't been doing much quilting lately, however, today I just finished a quilt top that I call "Mosaic". The blocks had been just sitting around for about 3 months but I never had the time to get around to them, so I made time. I got the pattern out of a quilting magazine (can't remember which one), but I am quite pleased. Hopefully I can put the sandwich together tomorrow and have it quilted by Christmas. I will post a pic as soon as it is finished.

I am going to Atlanta, GA on Wednesday to visit with my kids...I really miss them a lot.  I hadn't seen them since Memorial Day and I can't wait to hang out with them.  They have my week planned out. I can't wait to see what they have in store for me! Pray that I make it there safely and back. My daughter has a brand new sewing machine that I bought last year (it was actually for me, but I gave it to her) but she has yet to use it although in the beginning she showed a lot of interest, but that has dwindled tremendously.  Maybe when I get there I will be able to ignite that spark again....lol!

Oh well, that's all for now...I'll post again once I return from my trip....take care....and have a wonderful holiday.

Wishing you a saafe trip to and from your home. I'm sure that your  children will keep you busy and you'll have many memories to bring home. Maybe, your daughter will get the sewing bug again and you'll be able to help her over the phone or computer. Have a Merry Christmas with your children!!!!

It's good to hear from you.  Hope you survive your time with the kids,  :0).  Three months of sitting around would be nothing for my quilt blocks, looking forward to a pic of your quilt!  If your daughter has lost interest in sewing maybe she will give the machine back to you?  Poor machine, with nothing to do.
