Quilt With Us

Everyone will be happy to know that I've done pretty much nothing with my injured shoulder this week. I went to PT as ordered by the doctor and the shoulder is feeling much better.
As for the rest of my time: I did rest the shoulder, in the back yard under a wonderful summer sun, something we don't get much of here in the NW.
I have also spent time working on the mariner compass quilt on the LA. I would have been done by now but I didn't like just doing feathers in the side setting blocks and it took me a while to come up with the design I will use for the rest of the blocks.
I still have a couple of days before returning to work on monday so I hope that I will get the quilting finished so that I can move onto the next quilt. I really do enjoy the quilting, almost as relaxing as piecing the quilts to begin with.
Saturday is take mom to dinner. We are planning a kidnapping tomorrow as well. DD and DSIL wanted to go out and visit friends and take in a movie so I will get Aiden and mom, wait didn't I say I wouldn't take the two of them together again???? Oh yeah, no shopping with them.

Don't take them shopping but do have fun with them! Glad your shoulder is improving.

Ooh, love the quilting on your mariner's compass quilt!  Glad the shoulder is improving.  Just don't go and overdo anything.  You don't want to lose any of your progress.

Glad the shoulder is getting better - time, patience and PT!  LOL   Great quilt my friend.  Be mindful of that shoulder when cuddling, etc. with Aiden, okay?

Your quilting pattern is beautiful, Kathy. Sometimes it just take time and patience to come up with just the right design. Hope you can get it done this weekend. It is good to hear that your shoulder is well on the mend. Just don't do too much with it too soon. Enjoy your time time with your mom and grandson.

Happy to hear your shoulder is coming along. Takes awhile with that injury. Your quilts are always amazing and the quilting is just gorgeous.
