Hubby had a speaking engagement in Niagara Falls yesterday. So, we decided that it would be an overnight get away. We were on the preferred floor at the hotel, b/c of being the quest speaker(I'm not paying for it)...so you would think it would be a little higher security. Luckily, I was dressed when three men come barging in...laughing and having a ball. I don't know who was more shocked, me or them. They couldn't have been nicer and everybody was quick to leave. Scared the h--- out of me! So, hubby gets back and we decide to have dinner in house so went down to the restraunt and just as we are seated...this little boy pulled the fire alarm! Everyone had to go outside...the entire hotel had to be evacuated! Good grief!!! It was a long evening! The Falls is still as awesome as ever. When you think how many idiots have road a barrel over it!!!!

It's good to be home with the doors locked and I'm cooking!

Now that was an adventure you soon won't forget!  Glad you are back home too.

You just don't seem to do things the easy way!  Traveling with you through your stories is enough of an adventure for me:-D

Pam, you're always the life of the party - even when you don't know you're having a party!

How scary, Pam! I am always a little freaked out in hotels anyway, and can never really sleep. Glad it was just a mistake and through both frights everyone was all right!

We did get to eat around 9pm!!! It was the NFL draft night...the guys were not happy to leave the tv...we should have taken their picture with  faces up against the windows! The parents were mortified!

While on a business trip in a major US city, my husband entered his room to find a woman in bed. Same story of scaring the woman and terrifying my husband. As a result we always use the security lock in our room. Glad you are okay, years later it still makes for a good story at parties.

There are a lot of kooks out there.(parents included). Glad you're safe and no harm came to you. I shudder at that thought.

This is really SCARY.  I agree with Janet, what if they had been up to no good.  The Good Lord was sure looking out for you at that moment.  The kid topped it all off with the bells and whistles. lol

Makes you wonder about the key cards, huh?  Glad it all turned out okay.  Did you ever get to eat?

Oh my Pam, what a horrible experience.  What if they had been up to no good!  Where were the parents of the little boy?  Obviously not watching him very closely.
