Quilt With Us

Saturday at Quilt Festival is the craziest day, always. It's the most crowded day of the event and the loudest. The displays I enjoyed most were the Crazy for Quilting, a large display of small crazy quilts and Quilting from Russia. I talked to the ladies with the Russian exhibit at length and they love being here. Their quilts were so colorful but no photos were allowed. There was this beautiful "Fabric Forest" display with innovative & awesome techniques on fabric panels suspended from branches that you could walk in and out of. Hope you enjoy some more pics.

Glad to see the "forest of quilts" I forgot to take a pic!!--it was an exhibit from Germany--mounted from the ceiling!! They're double-sided and raw-edge construction.
