Movin' On ...
Some of you may recognize this first pattern (it's called "Sidelights"). But I'm in love with the fabrics! Fabric selection is everything in this quilt. The chrysanthemum border could be overwhelming, but toned down by the tan and gold sashings, it compliments the crane panel. The quilt is called "Moonlit Cranes."
The second quilt is called "Clematis" and is DH's favorite among my quilts this year. He loves the bright ones! The fabric is from a local designer and came with either a black or white background. Since I couldn't choose, I used both. I have a lot of extra fabric left from this one, so those bright colors will be showing up in scrap quilts down the line. Nicole quilted both.

WOW I'll take one of each. But like you, the cranes with the chrysanthemums is my favorite. Just hope I can find some of this line as it is stunning! Is it a newer fabric or have you had it for a while?

Moonlit Cranes is a beautiful quilt and I do like those colours. Clamatis is a very bright quilt.

Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! The cranes panel is just beautiful with the fabrics you matched with it. The Clematis quilt makes me think that spring weather may be just around the corner.

Both wonderful, beautiful quilts! My husband is always drawn to the brighter colors, but I'm really drawn to the cranes. What a piece of art!
