Quilt With Us

Just thought I would share and update since my last post in Feb.

I finished the quilting on the Blue quilt in March and it is just waiting for me to stitch on the binding.

In February I went on a retreat with all the girls in my family - Daughter, Daughter in law, Grand daughter, Step daughter and SD's mom. It was fun and I pieced another weekender quilt top for my mother in law, who is now in a nursing home.

I quilted that in March and finished up the binding in April. During all that time I have been slowly quilting a table runner on my regular sewing machine, started a baby quilt for a gal at work - the shower is in June - and have a top almost pieced for my niece and ready to go onto the LA. Her wedding is at the end of this month.

It is so good to be back in my sewing studio again and being inspired. Thank you ladies for all your support and encouragement.

Have a great day.

You've been busy and getting a lot of things accomplished!  It does feel good to be inspired again, doesn't it?  I've just recently come out of a quilting slump and it has been fun.

A retreat with the family females - priceless!  Way to go!

This site really is a good place for inspiration, and support, isn't it?  Enjoy your time back in your sewing studio.

That is great that you get along well enough with your step-daughter & her mom to go on a retreat with them.  That is the way all families should be.
