Quilt With Us

What ever can go wrong does go wrong, in my house any way.

For those of you who haven't had the lobstah dinner or dinner yet I won't be posting pictures. I will just let your imaginations run-a-muck here. Last night while holding the little male yorkie I noticed that his right side of his face looked a little swollen. This morning I checked him and still swollen but he was eating and so forth. This afternoon when I got home from work, OMG he looked like he had the mummps on one side of his face. So off we go to the Vets. Two hours later. Infection drained in Procedure, antibiotics injected along with a drain tube that now sticks out of the top of his head down under his jaw. Oh and he has no hair on the side of his head. So five days with a drain tube and it comes out. 14 days and we get stitches out. This dog has now cost more than any of the others. Will I ever be able to sell him now. Heck no. We've named him Stitches for sure. Why me??????

Kathy, so sorry about Stitches ouchie but I'm sure he will be fine. The question is will mom be ok? I think we worry about them as much as we do our children. Being a dog lover, I am so glad he has good parents.

What a wonderful name! A loving family has a soft spot for inquisitive puppies!

Stitches is an apropriate name for him. We've incurred huge expenses with our doggies but they are and were worth it. Thank you for being a good guardian to Stitches.

Post puppy procedure update. Haven't heard hardly a peep out of the little guy. The fun is about to begin. According to the vet, we have to wash said area around the tube sticking out of his noggin. Not something I'm looking forward to. Nearly fainted at the hospital once when they put stitches in my daughters ear when she fell as a kid and split her ear open. Tomorrow I think little girl puppy will visit doggy dentist and get them baby teeth yanked out. It was her fault after all, snapping and biting him when they were playing and puncuring his skin and it got infected.

What happened? Bad tooth? Or something stuck in his gum? We have very expensive pets too. There is no such thing as a free dog - or cat! Poor baby. And (literally!), poor you!

Poor little fellow, Kathy. What happened and what caused it or do you know?

Poor fellow. Stitch is a great name for him. Hope the healing goes well. Hang in there my friend.
