Quilt With Us

My daughter decided 2 years ago to go back to school to get her Associates Degree. She has been a single mother since her 2 boys were very young so it was not always easy to work & go to school, but her dad & I are very proud of her for sticking with it.  We are encouraging her to continue on to get at least a 4 yr degree.  She will officially graduate on Friday night & her oldest son will graduate from high school on Sunday.   I gave her this flag quilt as a symbol that we can create our own freedoms if we just put our minds to it.

Your daughter is beautiful. And so is the quilt.  She sure has a lot on her plate but she will reap the rewards in the end.

I am sure your beautiful daughter appreciates the love and thought you put into the flag quilt.  Congratulations to your daughter on her accomplishments.  She should be very proud.  What a great message for all of us to follow our own dreams.
