These are really so much fun to do.  Mari is doing her second set in wool; mine are in flat cotton.  I like her designs, so I'm just making minor changes as I go.

What fun binding! I am going to try that idea on more table runners. I need to make some of these mini blocks. I told myself I did not need one more book. but theses are too cute and would be fun at the front door welcome table.

I just love that binding, Carol Ann! I would never have thought to use it, but it really looks awesome, especially since it picks up the dots on the inner heart. I can't wait to see what you do with March!

Mari's patterns in the book are pretty basic, which invites embellishment.  I changed one of the fabrics in the heart and the binding, and added the star button.  If you are organized, you can do one in an afternoon.
