My little helper!
Boy, I sure don’t know how I got anything done before my son came along. At three he is in the “helping” stage and wants to help with EVERYTHING. God forbid any one flushes the toilet or throws anything in the trash themselves because apparently those are his jobs. Quilting, it seems, is not exempt from his help. I was trying to get my Autumn Berries Table Runner, from the book My Runners, finished up in time to decorate with it this year (I thought it was the perfect pattern for our Maple Skies collection) when Tyler jumped the baby gate and came running into my sewing room to “help”.

Here is a picture of him helping me below. Needless to say, my sewing for the day was finished shortly after he helped me! Instead we did his new favorite thing, turned on some music and danced!

Love the runner. And Tyler is such a cutie! I remember how much my grandson wanted to help at that age, and having him sitting on my lap, helping me sew. Happy times, enjoy!

How sweet he is to want to help you!!!! Just enjoy it, because before long, he'll want to do everything for himself and then later, doesn't want to be seen with mama or mom now. They grow so fast, so treasure each day with him. By the way, your table runner looks fantastic. Hope that you get it finished to use before winter comes!
