Quilt With Us

My mom's health has really deteriorated in the past 2 weeks since I went to Colorado to visit her. She finally decided to go to assisted living and my oldest sister found her a great place which she was going to be able to move into on Tuesday, but now she isn't well enough or strong enough to go.

later..yesterday she was a little better!  Thanks for listening.

Hugs to you my friend. I hope your Mom can soon move to where she can get the care she needs 24/7. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Colorado, I am sure with all the support your mother is getting from you and your sister it helps her from day to day. I hope she continues to improve so that she can enjoy her new living arrangements. Keep us up to date with her progress

This is such a difficult thing for everyone.  Assisted living sounds like a good thing, I hope she can get better and get in there.

We are facing the same situation with my MIL...doesn't get easier. Thoughts are with you.

So sorry to hear about your mom and I can understand your concern and feeling of helplessness from so far away.  Prayers that she will continue to improve so that she is able to move to her new surroundings.

Nothing in life really prepares us for watching our parents as their health begins to suffer.  It hurts, there is no changing that.  Hope every day finds you with the strength to deal with it.

I'm sorry your mother wasn't able to move into her new place just yet. Hopefully she will be feeling well enough to move soon. My prayers go out to her.

Best wishes for your mom's health.  I hope she will be able to enjoy her new home, since she is feeling a little better.  I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear your mom is not doing well.  Are you able to carry on at least a short telephone conversation with her?  I found it to be very helpful to be able to do that with my mom before she passed away.

Hi there! I'm new to the Quilt Along pages and just saw your post.  I am sorry about your mom and all you must be feeling. :(  I'm glad that she is a bit better and do hope it will continue along that same course.  I pray that the Lord of Comfort will be near to you each and every day.
