Quilt With Us

Today's the reveal day for my latest Scrap Squad Quilt.  This one was really out of my comfort zone....not a pattern I would have normally done on my own.  I guess that's what makes being a Scrap Squad member such fun!  If you'd like to see the write up, go to  http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quiltypleasures/

How neat to have your work featured in a magazine!  I think that pattern would be great to quilt flower bouquets in the circles with colored quilting thread.  Would add interest but not make it too busy.  If I had solid color rings, maybe applique something in there with scraps.

Wow, that's great!

Wow that's a great idea too Janet!

I love the photo idea as well as embroidery.  It is a unique pattern that could be implemented many ways!

I really like this one Carol.  I can envision beautiful embroidery inside the circles.  Maybe a quilt made from Christmas fabrics with Christmas motifs embroidered inside.  It reminds me of the Olympic circles also.

Well maybe I can use it sometime for an "Olympic party" and have friends over to watch the games!

Go Team USA!!!!
