I am looking forward to a new year with a fresh start on finishing in-progress projects and starting new ones. I have joined Karens UFO group and I think this will help me to get organized and keep on track. One project I recently finished was the ruffled onesie for Melissa's baby shower (I work better with deadlines). It was alot of fun to do and very easy!

Whew, I'm sure glad this Christmas is over.... almost, I went right up to 10:30 pm Christmas eve, putting finishing touchs on the aprons I made for two of my granddaughters. Made a bunch of table toppers, as well as a lot of knitting hats and scarves. I'm looking forward to being active on this site, this is awesome!!! I'll be back often!!!
Hi Carol,
The ruffle is a width of fabric cut 8-1/2". Cut the selvages off and seam these sides together then fold in half with wrong sides together and sew gathering stitches around the raw edges and gather to fit. Then the onesie is cut (I had to guess on the placement since my directions didn't say exactly where to cut), then I used my serger to sew the ruffle in.

Hi. What a darling idea! How did you attach the skirt? I have a four month old granddaughter and this would be such a cute idea for her, this summer. And I could make hair bows to match. Carol
