I have been watching all of the posts and sit here on another cold snow day. I have been busy sewing everyday as I do not like to go out in the snow and cold. Our group took time off over the holidays after our sale at the beginning of Dec. We lost another member to cancer and needed sometime to regroup. Got back together two weeks ago and I have been busy working on scrappy quilts. I posted two new pictures. One is of stars and the other is the snail trail block. Got the one done of stars and a second half done, managed to use lots of scraps and did three of the snail trail. I continue to challange myself to use up my scraps, so I also made a applique with batik scraps. I am in the process of getting it ready to quilt. Of course I still have tons of scraps to use. I am thinking about doing a scrappy dresen plate design. Most all of my quilts go to charity and I am always looking for good patterns. I have the closet full of fabric and we have a closet full at our group. Someone donated beautiful 4-5 yd pieces of new high quality material to us and we were so excited. She works at a our LQS and gave us a rubbermaid bin full of material. My DH and I have decided not to go on holiday this winter and so I should get alot done in the next couple of months.
Hope everyone stays warm and safe.
