Quilt With Us

Well Nimo, that's name they gave blizzard, is long gone but clean up continues.   We have another storm moving in today.  Will end up as 1/2 inch rain but starts as snow/ icy mix.  I like snow, I hate ice storms.  Still over 110, 000 in state with no power, some towns south of Boston don't anticipate getting their power back until middle of week.  We were lucky, snow was dry and powdery so no outages.  Most schools closed for day, my town only has a 90 minutes delay which should have  kids out waiting for the bus when snow starts.  Not my idea of a good plan.

So, good day for quilting. Hope to finish up tote bag I started before the holidays and start cutting fabric for  a couple of projects I have planned.

We got 8 inches of snow from Friday/Saturday . today was snowy then rain. I hope the roads are ok tomorrow, I have an appointment for a hysterectomy. I wish I was going south!  but at least we didn't get what Manchester got and it was worse in Boston and other points south of us. I hope they all get their power back soon.

Hopefully there won't be much icy stuff in this next one. Hoping everyone gets their power back soon. It's been a rough few months out your way.

You're correct, it was Nemo not Nimo.

Pre storm my crocus had  started to pop their heads up.  Sure sign that Spring will soon be here.

Good morning Mary, we didn't get much of Nemo. Portland got their share and ours too I guess. I seen on the weather channel that we are in for a "wintery mix".  Like you, I don't mind the snow, especially the light fluffy stuff but sleet, rain and heavy snow is hard to deal with.  I dread to see this new storm hit us.  I keep telling myself that Spring is not far away. lol
