Quilt With Us

I had nothing to do with hurricane Mathew. Sorry, that so many are displaced. Nothing worse than flooding. I am in SAN Antonio. It is hot... came from cool weather in NY. This is the last trip for awhile. I need to get my house deep cleaned before the holidays. Not to mention, get a few things made. There is a quilt shop not too far from the hotel. Will try to get there and check out some southwestern prints. We are here for a conference, but will get to visit the Alamo and love the Mexican marketplace. The food is so delicious!! The hotter the better. This is one of our favorite cities to visit.
Seems like Fall is racing by. The trees are absolutely gorgeous! Best time to visit upstate NY.

I don't think you can be held responsible for Matthew. You simply are too nice to create such misery. On the other hand, I will keep an eye on San Antonio. It is a beautiful city and as a native Texan feel strongly about maintaining its history (and preserving the Alamo) hint, hint. Have fun!

I don't know about that Pam.  Storms to the left of you, storms to the right of you and now your stuck in the middle with San Antonio. sorry couldn't resist.  Being the one to the NW of you, our storm kind of fizzled out.  The coast took the worst of the storm but where I am, not so bad.  As long as your there you could use some of that karma you have and send the warm weather back over the rest of the states.  My vacation kind of went down the drain so to speak.  We got a septic tank fixed at moms house and a lot of electrical problems and thankfully the storm wasn't so bad here as we have yet to get the new roof on the house. Counting down to the day we sign off on the house. Ps Pam please stay out of Washington, at least until December or so.  Hope you are having fun

Have you visited the mall near the Alamo?  I can't remember the name exactly but I think it is River Center Mall?  That is where you can ride a boat right down the center of the mall.

Always good to hear about your travels, San Antonio is somewhere we haven't been, but we hear it a lovely place to visit. I understand you can go on the river boat and hop off and on when you want to see something. Enjoy your time and hope you finds some wonderful fabric when you visit the quilt store. Safe travels.

Enjoy the nice weather while you can.  Sounds like heaven to me!  It's chilly here.  Cold in the mornings.  Definitely feels like Fall.  Safe travels!

We couldn't possibly blame you for Matthew...it simply lacks your fun sense of humor.  Now, having said that, if something happens in San Antonio, we might start to wonder!

You are so right about fall flying by.  I love the fall - the color, the smell, the crisp morning air.  Too bad winter has to follow!
