Quilt With Us

Hello everyone.  Yes we’ve all had a rough month with this virus, I hope everyone is well.  I’ve been working (yes I work at a grocery store), until today anyway.  I’ve been having problems with my left wrist over the last few days. This morning when I went to work it just seemed like it was getting worse so I went home. It took a while but I finally got in to see a doctor.  Turns out I have tendinitis. A wrist brace and meds and a week off work I am finally home but what to do for a week?  I know I can’t do any sewing with this brace on and now that we staying home I really have nothing to do.  I did start a lap quilt but some how I’ve lost the picture I took. The only one I could find was a portion of one of the blocks.  This is 1 half of a block 10 x 10. The whole block will be 10 x 20

I'm sorry to hear you have tendinitis. I hope it will heal quickly and you can get back to the things you need to do or things you want to do.

The block looks interesting; it will be fun to see more.  But, don't over do it.  It does seem like once you get this type of tendinitis, you will be more prone to future bouts.

Make sure you take the time to heal. I had a bad bout of tendonitis years ago and still get flare-ups sometimes. The more you try to keep going, the longer it takes to heal. Good luck and take care!
