Quilt With Us

Now he has really done it this time.

Yes the other half has gone and named the dogs. Lilo and Stitch. They are now 4 weeks old and counting. Now I'll never get rid of them. How can you sell off a family member??? Had our first lesson in eating real food tonight. Talk about pampered. Won't eat out a dish, but feed them with a spoon and they took to it like a fish in water. (Sigh) What next?

The sucker tatoo is at the top of the forehead with the arrow pointed at the other half. He said I could keep Pearl the survivor from the first litter. all totaled there are currently: one male Golden Retriever, who by the way discovered last night that one of the babies likes to chew his tail. Mom and Dad Yorkies, Pearl and Lilo and Stitch yorkies, 6 dogs. We also have the restriction on dogs in our area but when the neighbors wanna get rid of the Pitbull tearing up my fence I will....... hum I'll move, shoot can't get rid of the dogs now can I?????? LOL

Not sure where I read this line: pets are like children, the only difference is that you cannot give away or sell your children. I believe we are the 'aliens' in this earth, and the real inhabitants are the pets that live in our household. We 'arrive' in their lives to ensure the continuity of their lifeform. Enjoy pampering your pets.

Oh boy! You're in it now! Can't separate them now, and once they are named, you're invested! lol!

I also have that infrared forehead tattoo that says "Sucker" that only strays can see, or so says my vet, my husband, and my boys! ;)

Your new babies are adorable by the way! :)

Trevi, what is the problem with naming your pet in your will??? (ha). Well ours is named. Well I should say the last one was but we never had the will changed yet as it is about $400 to change the pets name and then we would have to change the one who he is going to as well as our friends are no longer able to take our pet I am sure.
Kathy, your babies are so cute. Are you looking for homes for them? I would so love to have one or two. Our by-law in town says 2 pets only I think but I cannot see how they could stop you if you had 3 little dogs in the house. I could see if they were being annoying to the neighbours. Lilo and Stitch - I love it but maybe they cannot be parted with names like that eh? See may have to take them both (ha). Take care and you just keep spoiling them with being spoon fed. Mine is sometimes fork fed so what is the problem. Happy 4th of July.

What's next? Are they named in the will? That's when you know it's hopeless!

What is the grand total now? My husband was once complaining to people that 8 pets were just too many but - the joke was on him, we had 9 pets at the time!

Kathy, just one question - where is your sucker tatoo? Mine is right at my hairline on my forehead, yep can still be seen, which is why I can always be had! LOL. Had nine kittens, from two litters, one with no mama cat last spring. Was lucky enough to find homes for all babies but still have mama cat! Had two dogs, told the kids no more pets, somehow there is another 6 month old living in this house. Babies are soooo cute!
