Quilt With Us

My work week has ended and I'm packing for a 3 day quilting retreat! Judy, Joy (my cousin) and I are headed to Chehalis, WA for a wonderful non stop quilting and laughing (and eating) weekend! I especially love the possibility of being out of cell phone/ email range! I've got one big UFO project, one little UFO project (for when I'm sick of the big one), and a couple of hand work wool felt ornament projects to work on.

Woohoo!

You probably wont read this until you get home so I hope you had a great time. Wish I could share that time with you and your friends. There's nothing like a good retreat. (awesome...no cell phone or email? I didnt think they had retreats on the moon.. It seems there's cell air everywhere these days...good for you) Now, it's back to the 4 letter word, W O R K. Hope you have a great week.

This definitely sounds fun, yes, quilting, laughing, retrEATing, and more retrEATing and for three days! Don't even look at a clock!
It's a good thing you will be non-stop quilting to provide the proper balance of exercise....heehee.

You three have a great time on your retreat! I love retreats, but have never gone on one just for quilting before, though I have hand quilted or hand appliqued at just about every retreat I've ever gone on. Enjoy!!

Okay, I've never thought of Chehalis being a place to get away for quilting. Of course it was about 40+ years ago when I lived there. Where do you go there for your retreat? I know you will have a great time, sounds like you have plenty of projects to work on. Do you have your chocolates packed?

It is something I have never done... maybe someday I'll be fortunate and be able to attend one. Have a great time Karen, and don't forget to share the gossip when you get back! lol

Isn't it amazing how we have to have more than one project at a time to work on. Heaven forbid we should finish one and not have another at the ready.
