Quilt With Us

I am heading at the crack of dawn to Cheyenne for Quilt Wyoming--the state quilt guild's annual summer gathering. The state is divided into 5 areas--so the summer event rotates around the state. This one is the longest drive for me, almost exactly 400 miles. In two years it will be maybe 25 miles. It all works out.

I'm taking a class from Wendy Butler Burns and one from Judith Montano--If I have misspelled the names it's because I lost my confirmation letter. I put it in a "very safe spot". Too safe for me, now I have no idea where it is.

My rescued dog suffers from anxiety when she sees me packing. There just isn't a way to stealthily remove the contents of my sewing room without her noticing.

Stay out of trouble while I'm gone.

Enjoy those classes.  Sounds like a great time.  Don't worry, your confirmation letter will show up...as soon as you return home, if you're anything like me.

"Safe spots" around here are sometimes synonymous with "black holes."
