OK so some time ago I watched a video on You Tube about wholecloth quilts. Then I saw a video on Kayewood TV from Sulky about Crayon Quilts. These quilts are awesome and so much fun to make. I have a friend expecting a baby soon and am making her one of these quilts!! You use sandpaper and color the pieces with crayons and then iron it on your fabric and then outline with crayon or thread! Will post pictures when I get the top done!! This is way too much fun...and a great project to make with your kids or grandkids (in my case) too!!
Oh and I am such a happy camper. My DH made me a cutting table for my sewing room. He is a big believer in recycling stuff and I thought OH MY.... this could be interesting! Well it looks real nice and all open except for one shelf. So I am making a skirt to go around it. Made some hooks on each end for all my rulers and cutters! Next project is an ironing station! He is such a sweetheart! Don't have the heart to tell him that his bookcase and antique toy cars are going to have to be removed from MY space! HAHA
