Quilt With Us

I can't go to Hawaii to soak up the sun, so I brought Hawaii to my home...Nine more of these and I can wrap myself with a Hawaiian quilt.

The strawberry and flower helps speed up spring.

Amanda, I got the patterns from Poakalani, I've also downloaded the states flowers.  I wish I could go to Hawaii and take her classes.

I adore the look of traditional Hawaiian quilts, but I have not started mine, yet. I have been collecting the free flower of the month patterns at:  http://www.poakalani.net/ and I hope to start them after my local quilt guilds show at the end of April.

They are beautiful. I don't think you could get a prettier color combination, Aida. I can't wait to see more of them!

Have never done applique but would like to try.  Those are beautiful.  Love the white and dark blue.

Very beautiful. I have done the applique and hand quilted a wall hanging project. I love it--but--it is not fast work. I'm going to guess this beauty won't be done before it warms it. :)

I hand quilted one...did not do the piecing. Takes along time...it will be youngest grdson's wedding quilt. They are beautiful.

So pretty, Aida!  I have one of these on my quilt bucket list.  I'm ready for a heat wave any time!
