Quilt With Us

I have become more and more interested in both free form quilting and free form construction using curves and circles and the like and possibly creating some of my own fabric...with this in mind  I did this free form stitching to form a piece of fabric that \i will cut and use in a creation of my own....looking forward to the challenge.

What a great concept! I never would have thought of that!  I think you are starting something new that will become a great trend!  I haven't had much luck yet with free motion quilting on my sewing machine but looks like you've got a great start!  Can't wait to see it in a project!

Wonderful idea to use the free motion quilting to create your own fabric!

Very nice.  I have been trying my hand at free motion quilting.   I'm having trouble with control of speed and uniform patterns.  I tried making petals of flowers and they were all shapes and sizes.  I got a new presser foot with a bigger toe so I'm hoping that will let me see better where I'm going.  But it is fun and the smaller projects that I do, it saves me from sending things out to be quilted.
