Quilt With Us

I was wondering where I had stored my stuffing for those pincushions I'm making for Christmas presents. Then I looked down at the dining room floor and it was covered with the stuffing from a dog toy. LuLu decided to let me repurpose her toy stuffing...LOL. OH geez, now she's stolen the other dog's toy and I see that it too has given up it's stuffing.

It's been a busy day today. Moved the guinea pig family back to school, since with the 3 new babies, they don't fit into the small cage and I am unable to clean the larger cage at home during the winter. (In the summer, I can just hose it outside.) Cleaned the large cage, got it all ready for the move and then had to clean the small cage. Now I"m looking at the gerbil townhouse and I really need to clean that too. Hmm, maybe tomorrow.

After the move, I visited a friend's Partylite Open House and agreed to babysit their dog next weekend. I mean, what's one more dog in my household? LOL. Then on to grocery shopping. The checker and people in my line were commenting on my shopping cart - very full - dog food, cat food, kitty litter, rodent food and house, dog toys, and even glucosamine for my dog and me to share. And a bit of human food and laundry detergent on top. You know it's bad when the Salvation Army bell ringer comments on the cart, too. :-D

Bummer - the WSU Cougars lost by a touchdown to UW Huskies in the Apple Cup. But it was a really good game.

Well, I guess I'd better go start stuffing those pincushions. Have a good Sunday and upcoming week.

Thanks Terry. I've gotten the stuffless ones before, but the dogs don't really enjoy them as much - too easy to get the squeaker out, and then all they have left is some fake fur to carry around. LOL

Hmm, cleaning gerbil - I guess that would be ...ME! :-)

Hire a cleaning gerbil for the townhouse. BTW, I now buy stuffingless dog toys. I think they are called flatties? Same furry animal, no stuffing to come (be pulled!) out. 'Course, this won't help if you need stuffing.

Sorry about the loss - it was quite a game. We're thrilled the UO won the Civil War. We're still Oregonians at heart.
Sounds like you found the perfect stuffing!

Nice recycling. I have plenty of toy stuffing around here thanks to Bernie.
