Quilt With Us

I have all the borders on the first of three "Memorial to a Bridesmaid Dress" wall hangings for me and my two sister in laws.

I only tried about 6 different fabrics for that last border! The cornerstone fabric and the large star point fabric is from the dress. The center square and the small star points are a silk fabric I found that's very close in color to the dress one of my sister in laws wore.

I used the seashell fabric because the whole vow renewal took place at a beach house in North Carolina.

Your block is gorgeous and what a great idea. I also love the seashells - do they have special significance too?
