Quilt With Us

Ouch... it's really painful (literally) to make your quilt sandwich - on all fours on the dining room floor!  I realized this when I woke up this morning with pains in places I never knew existed. Lol!  Saturday was the perfect day for this job.  Leon and the boys helped to push the heavy dining room furniture aside.  After a bit of "coaxing" the boys were eager to help me stretch and tape the back fabric to the floor.  How did I bribe them?  With a piece of carrot cake of course!  Yesterday afternoon I could start the actual quilting process... so in a few days I will hopefully be able to post the end result.  Want to "borrow" these two helpers for your next quilt sandwich? :o)

I hate sandwiching also.  So, I only do the small quilts myself, everything else I take to the LA stitcher.

They're hired! I hate the job of sandwiching the quilts. Hubby helps me. You have the perfect floor to do that...bribery in any form is legal!
