Quilt With Us

Our remodeling is finally finished ...

Have been remodeling two bathrooms and first floor laundry this summer. What a project...I can't be happier how everything turnout, especially the master bath. We took out the bath tub and put in a spa shower with a full bench. The door to the room was repurposed wood from an old 1900's train station. I bought the barnstrappings from Ohio on ebay. The handle came from New Orleans. The picture of the tin ceiling tiles came from a 150 yr. old hotel in Sandusky, Ohio. I designed this room, but the credit goes to a new construction company. These guys listened to me and really got into the project. They did an excellent job.

I am looking forward to getting back into my sewing room. It became the storage room all summer.

Very pretty Pam.  My husband has been painting and doing other updates to both of our bathrooms too.  I really like how yours turned out.

Love it! About 1 1/2 yrs ago we changed a full bath and master 3/4 bath into a powder room and luxurious (by comparison) master 3/4 bath with laundry chute and outlets in the cabinets for hair dryer and shaver. What the contractor did went fast. We're still finishing up the woodwork, which DH is doing.

That is an antique family gun...I figure I could at least scare the crap out of them...can't hit the broad side of a barn!!! lol

Perfect!  Can't go wrong with barn doors.  Isn't it exciting to have it all finished and ready to use?  It's like putting the binding and label on a quilt! :)

Thanks ladies...it would be fun to be a designer and spend someone else's money...lol! But, we all have the design talent or else we wouldn't quilt!

What a GREAT bath Pam!  Love all the great materials/finds you used in it and how wonderful to have a contractor truly listen and do what you wanted in it. You will enjoy it for many years to come!
