Quilt With Us

I know I’m beating a dead horse (really where did that saying come from? I know I could Google it but I’m just too lazy) but Quilt As You Go is amazing. Gudrun is really a genius when it comes to new applications for this technique. In the Peek A Boo Table Runner you see her cleverly curved lines. I really love how the colors from the Mix It Up! Collection peek out (aptly named!) of the black background like little jewels. This would work well with a light ground as well. Another thing that makes this runner so cute is its size; it’s just a skinny little thing at 9” x 35” which makes it more versatile for decorating! If you don’t have a lot of surface space you can even just square off the edges and make it a wall hanging that would look good hanging vertically or horizontally depending on your space.

I have this pattern sitting in my sewing room right now, just begging to be done in fall colors.  I have a few other things I really need to finish first though.  I think it will be one more fun way to use some scraps.
