I have photographed enough of the quilts I have been binding recently to try a post with one of them. I'm very bad at this and since DS moved to Alaska, I have to struggle through it by myself.
This quilt is the Guild challenge for this year. We were given the directions for each of the 6" blocks on a monthly basis. We were instructed to make at least three of each. The red and blue fabrics were provided, but there were no completion directions! I added the ecru backgrounds from my stash. This one must go in the quilt show as part of the challenge. I am photographing all the quilts draped over my very neutral colored sofa, as it is the only place I have large enough without a distracting background. This is a fairly large wall hanging. I machine quilted it myself (in the ditch for the blocks, and a formal leafy vine in the background strips.) I have sewn hanging sleeves to the back on both the top (shown oriented this way in the photo), and on the left side so it could be hung sideways. It is called "Quilted Glory", and this is how it finished:
