I've been holding my breath for a while now. I work at one of the grocery stores in the Northwest threatening to go on strike this week if the employers didn't come to an agreement with the employees contract. I was kind of looking forward to that unpaid vacation time, more time for sewing you know. But then again I do have the bills to pay every month. The grocery stores and union finally came to an agreement an hour and a half before the deadline to strike. It was a little depressing thinking about how long I would have been off work. That prompted me to start looking at the options of finding another job. That was even more depressing so, I have been working on the quilt blocks that I posted before. The top is now just over half way complete. I will wait till the top is done before putting put another picture. This top is set on point and looks funny if you try to look at it before it's done.
On the up side of things, I was also looking forward to more baby time with Aiden. That little guy is growing like a weed. DD called me the other night offering to give him away, at least for the night. Aiden has found his voice and was making good use of it that night. I offered to take him but warned her she would have a hard time getting him back. I didn't get him that night but I will be sitting with him on friday.
Sense I didn't post a picture of the quilt the least I could do is post one of Aiden picking out pumpkins.
