Quilt With Us

A finish.  Finally!  I think the edges are rippling some because the binding may not be 100% cotton.  It was something in my stash inherited from a great-aunt.  She was quilting in her later years (the 1970's) with whatever was available.  And history is repeating itself, because that's what I'm doing now, too.  This one is going to a sweet baby girl in Idaho.  Machine pieced.  Machine quilted (domestic machine).  This quilt completely used up several of the prints here.  Stash busting progress?

P Q I love the colors and the pattern. You did a great job on it. I'm trying to use up fabric in my stash also. I made over 200 Face masks just out of scraps. It gave me more room in draws. But the best part was not wasting the fabrics.

Love the colors and the baby girl will love it. Even if the edge is a little rippled, it looks like it will take many years of use. Did your friends list disappear? Others have said that most of theirs did, but mine is completely gone. I haven't blogged for several years, but love reading the ones that still do. I haven't seen Pam on for quite awhile and wonder how she is doing?

How is your weather? Here in Seattle, smoke has filled the air for more than a week and we had rain last night and some sun today with the smoke not quite as bad. We decided no more traveling this year because of the virus and fires. No where safe to go.  Take care and stay safe.

Very sweet, Jan! I’m sure the baby girl will love it, especially the pretty horses. Glad you survived the quilting process!
