Here's a photo of our Christmas.... damn,  darn, there aren't any Christmas photos..., I accidently erased all my pictures from my camera.  I've been in a funk today over it. Been so mad at myself I cant seem to concentrate on anything. Really?  Luke's first Christmas? and I had to pull a stunt like that?    My camera is kind of new to me and I touched the format button my mistake and poof, they went to that big black cloud somewhere out there.    Then I was going to sew a baby sleeping sack and guess what....it's in French.  French?  Dutch?  What's wrong with me and European patterns.?  Then I went to pick up my serger and the shop was closed today...I came home and was going to use my sewing machine and guess what????? it won't turn on...geez!!!!!   I know why this is happening.... I have to get in all my bad karma out before the clock strikes 12 so I can start my new year off on a good foot and not turn into a pumpkin or something.  Right?

I'm plan to watch New years on East Coast time, (9:00 my time) and then to bed.  DH is out being a Sheriff tonight so I'm having a party for 1.  Eggnog and rum....  Here's wishing you all Very Happy New Year.

Had my granddaughter over for New Year's Eve - a tradition.  She's 13 now. We did stay up until after midnight, we watched Rocking New Year's Eve for the hour they did the top 30 women singers. Then we watched The Lone Ranger which Molly and I both enjoyed. During the movie we had our traditional chips and dip followed by root beer floats. After the movie we watch the ball drop, chatted a bit and then went to bed.

My sister called about 3pm. Said she watched the ball drop in New Zealand & that was good enough for her! LOL I don't know what time that was. The ball dropped for us about 8:30p.

When I start to have a day like you had I try to cancel everything I can so it doesn't get totally out of control. Doesn't always work tho.

Happy New Year Debbie!  I'm so sad for you and your "lost photos" saga.  You need to kick the bad karma in the rear end and send it on it's way.  It's gonna get better (Texan talk).

I know the feeling Debbie. I took a trip years ago and took lots of pictures.  When I opened my camera to take the film to be developed I found I didn't have a film in the camera to develop.  Things like this have a way of sticking in your mind for a loooooooong time.

Hopefully others took pictures too and you can get copies from them.  I hate when I do a camera oops like that.  I do think you filled your quota for things going wrong and now it is a new and fresh day to start over!  Happy New Year my friend.

I agree with Kathy...lol...if, you start speaking a foreign language...we know what has happened! Or there was too much rum in the eggnog!!! hugs

Sorry your day went so badly but it's nice to know that I have good company in opps department with cameras. I look at it as a good excuse to see the baby again and get more pictures.

So when you were in the hospital did they give you any blood transfusions from a donar of european descent?  If your post start coming up in a language we can't read, at least we will under why, or we'll just wait for you to sober up.
