Quilt With Us

I just took a class from Cindy Needham. Awesome instructor. This is what I came up with when I divided and designed a blank piece of fabric. I love how she teaches sunshine and shadows. It was fun using different fillers. Once UFO.s are done I will design a whole cloth using her methods.

Oh Barbara, you will never be sorry. She goes through every aspect of quilting and has helped me look at my stencils in a whole new way. Go for it.

Lori - so good to hear from you (on my post) and to see one of your own on here.  Such beautiful work!  Looks like a fun project and a great way to practice a bunch of different fillers.

That is really awsome!  I'm familiar with Cindy Needham's work and, you're right, she is an excellent teacher!

Linda I spent about 16 hours of quilting. This is my own design. I did draw it out on a piece of paper before I applied it to the material. Wanted to make sure I would like it on paper before spending all that time quilting. DH is making a frame for it. Thanks

How many hours did you spend on this work of art; that if I own would be mount for picture on the wall? Did you have a pattern to follow?

Yay, for you Pam and Brenda. It is the best gift you can get. Cindy answers your questions and comments within a couple of days. If I ever get a chance to attend one of her classes in person, I will be there., Your both will do great, she is that awesome of a teacher., Irene the only book I have of hers is called. Wholecloth Linen Quilts. It is a great book, but learned so much more from her Craftsy class. It is the best class I have ever taken.
