Good morning.....My DH, Mike is having surgery this morning to remove his gall bladder. We have heard from many that it's such an easy surgery/easy recovery, but it's still surgery. We've had a bit of a roller coaster ride with this issue. Mike travels frequently for his job and a couple of weeks ago, he was in Ontario, Canada. He was flying home and had a 2 hr layover in Denver. He was texting me while there and was anxious to get home. About an hr after that, I got a text stating he missed his flight and was on his way to Denver University Hospital with severe abdominal pain. I found out later this was written by one of the ambulance attendants. He was checked out at Denver University Hospital, when he was released he was told by the Dr that he had viral hepatitis. Once he got home, he was checked out by his Dr and through a series of tests they found out he had passed a gallstone. So the GB comes out today! He did not have viral hepatitis, but a swollen liver....ugh! My oldest and youngest sons will be with me today. I do have a wall hanging that I'm hand quilting to work on while I wait!
I would really appreciate your prayers for Mike! I will update you when it's all done!
