Quilt With Us

Have been reading everyone's postings.  I am really tired of the snow here in MI.  Sun is out today and up to 40 so DH and I will be going out for a walk....fresh air...

I spent January making Hop to it applique quilt.  I had purchased the book several years ago on sale for $3 and decided to use up some batik scraps.  All except the background was scraps I have been collecting, including the sashing.  I surprised myself by FMQ, it was not a hard as I though.  I posted a pic.  Currently working on Little dragons everywhere.  Making two of them, one for me to add to my pile and one for charity.  Have them pined and will start quilting this weekend.

I am knitting dish clothes for myself in the evenings and putting binding on my GD quilt.  Not much else to do in the cold/snow.

Hope everyone has a sunny day.

Wonderful quilt, Dawn!  I haven't tackled an intricate applique project yet, but they are so special.  Nice work!

Absolutely love your scrappy quilt.  I agree with the weather being a downer but today was near 40. Mary, whatever storm is coming your way will be here a day or two later. If you don't mind would you keep our share? Thank you in advance.

Absolutely gorgeous quilt Dawn! That took some time to complete. Great job in using up the batiks!
