Quilt With Us

Got so bored making hexagons with the same fabric for my Grandmother's Flower Garden. I decided to pull from the stash I aquired a few months ago. I love calico fabric. As long as the scraps were large enough to cut six squares from it, it was a good thing! Feels so fresh. The monotony is what kills my projects mid-way everytime. Back to paper piecing 'new' hexagons!

Hi Evelyn, I have just started my Grandmothers Flower Garden. My one fear is that I will become bored and not finish it. I am planning on a full size - would like a queen but I think I am pushing it. I started with mixed colours simply to help me from the boredom. Have fun and hopefully we can encourage each other while working on this. This will be my travel quilt and will be able to work on it in the summer outside. Enjoy your garden and hopefully we will encourage each other when it gets draggy. Ha ve a good weekend.
