Quilt With Us

Good evening quilters. I have been rather busy lately but I want you to know that I attended a workshop last Tuesday morning that was taught by the Crazy Eights from Cobourg. They were teaching how to do fractures. It was amazing how 4 small squares becomes one larger square.
I just finished making the christening dress for my great neice who will be christened on the 29th of Nov. It was made from her mothers wedding dress. If you check my photos, you will see it there.
The next two weeks will be very busy because I will have my mother here with us. I keep her for 2 weeks each month.
I have to go and catch up with what everyone is doing.

The dress is gorgeous. WOW! How special that it was made from the wedding dress. Sounds like you have some great things going on. Blessings to you for caring for your mom 2 weeks each month.

Muriel, your christening dress is absolutely gorgeous. Hope the two weeks with your Mom there go really well. My Mom usually comes for about 4-5 months from Jan. - May and I so look forward to her being here with me. She is on the east coast and I am half way across Canada so I don't get to see her the other 7-8 months. Have a great day!
