Quilt With Us

My hubby and I are planning a mini-vacation to Pigeon Forge in April, and I need a list of any quilt shops in that area, Seiverville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg. If anyone knows of any, please let me know, as I would like to visit at least 1.

Ronda,

You HAVE to visit Cherry Pit in Sevierville. The Craft Community in Gatlinburg is an amazing way to spend the day. I love pottery also and they have a several really nice potters too. Enjoy your vacation. It's nice to see another Ronda w/o an 'h' and a quilter too. :^D

Ronda, Holloway's in Crosby, Tennessee You will spend hours in there and the ladies are wonderful. You can pull it up on Google and get all the info. You can't go quilting without going to Holloway's. There is also a good place to eat close by but I can't think of the name but the ladies at the quilt shop can tell you how to get there. I have been to the Cherry Pit too and it is a nice little shop in Severville. There is also one in the Craft Community in Gatlinburg. The lady that owns it is really nice and they have a lot of neat fabric. I believe you can type in Craft Community in Gatlinburg and find it. If you are going to this area you need to go through the Craft Community. Block out a whole day though. You will want to go into all the shops. Hope this helps. I can give you more information if you can't find out about these from the info I gave you, I'll dig deeper for you!!

I live a short distance away from Pigeon Forge and there are some good quilt shops there. The Cherry Pit, Iva's, Exquisite Quilts. and Sue's Mountain Quilts. Also if you go into the town of Maryville, There is RoostersQuilt Shop on Rt 411 S, (I teach there) . I just retired to the area 3 yrs ago and it is a quilting haven. Love it.
