Quiltmaker Scrap Squad
The next week or so will be exciting for me! I have been chosen as a member of Quiltmaker Magazine's Scrap Squad and we will be unveiling our first project. Eight of us have been selected through an application process and we are each making a scrappy version of one project from each new issue. The pattern we are working on this time is such a neat one. I've gotten a peek at the other ladies' work and you will want to check it out....especially if you are a fan of scrappy quilts! I'll post the link as soon as it's available.

Carol, thank you so much and congratulations. I'm proud to be your friend and love that magazine. A friend of mine used to have a lot to do with it. Is Brends Groels still associated? I sent her an email via Judy Martin, and her response to me got deleted before I got to read it. We were friends and quilt addicts in Grand Island, NE (she lives in Phillips).

Carol, I just watched all your quilts go waltzing by as I sat here sipping my hot tea!
I really like your choice of colors and patterns! I recognized the lunch tote bag! My
girl friend and I sold about 35 of them between Ketchikan and Prince of Wales Island
last year! We loved making them and choosing fabrics was fun too! Great job!
