Quilt With Us

I finished up the Raindrop Kaleidoscope today. That includes washing, taking pics and updating the blog. I do believe I will stick to my own tried and true methods of creating my quilts. I tried a QAYG method and it ended up causing more headaches than my usual modus operandi. Ah well it's done and presentable. Yay

The first word that jumped into my head when I looked at the picture was "stunning,"  followed quickly by gorgeous, and amazing.  I'm not sure I'm brave enough to tackle something so intricate looking.

I love this quilt Joanne.  I too had trouble using the QAYG method although it has been a long time since I tried it.  I was just not satisfied with how the back looked.

Carol-I wasn't able to use the QAYG on every piece. I ended up only being able to use it on certain straight lines that made even sided shapes like octagons. That ended up being not much so QAYG is not a suitable method for my stuff.

Just gorgeous -- but I can't even imagine how you would do QAYG on a pattern that intricate.  Congratulations on a spectacular job.
