Quilt With Us

Received fabric for table runner today - my contest fabric!

Much prettier than in the catalog or on the web! Thank you again CT!! I'll post a pic when it's done!

Also would like to ask for prayers for a friend's son, Clint. Just recently station in Afghanistan - called his Mom in tears as the camp was under attack! I cannot imagine his fear or how she felt when she spoke with him. He wanted his siblings and Dad to know too that he loved them, etc. Please pray for him, his camp, his family and all of our troops. Thank you!

Prayers of thanks! Clint and his troop is safe and are being relocated! His Mom, Clint and I thank you all for your prayers. Let us continue to pray for our troops and all those who protect and serve....

Thank you all for your prayers......it means a lot to Barb and her family and to me. She still hasn't heard from Clint (to our knowledge). The "minister" in Florida did put our troops in danger, I do believe. Heavy prayers tonight!

As part of the Air Force family, we pray for the well-being of our soldiers around the world.

Consider it done. DH and I constantly pray for our soldiers and their return home.

Janet, we will be praying for Clint and his family as well as the camp and all our troops. I think something big has been stirred up from the announcement of the burning of the Koran. How sad that one person can stir up so much trouble. He sure wasn't thinking about our troops overseas, and not only our troops but people stationed in all walks of life all over the world.

Janet, I will be praying for that soldier and his loved ones. My husband was in Iraq for 14 months, I know how scary those calls are. God be with Clint and all our brave soldiers.

My thoughts go out to the entire family. I remember when my sister was deployed to Desert Storm and called me in tears when she got there, and knowing that she was in Irag with the Med/Surg unit that followed the troops through the desert. Also, my youngest son is in the Navy now. I do understand. But I can't imagine hearing from him while under attack. Healing energy sent to all......

What a terrible phone call to receive. My prayers are with those brave young men and women and their families.

Janet, his mother's (and any mother's) heart must have broken upon getting that call. I will certainly pray for him and all of our military people.
