Request for Prayers
Hello to all in QWU land. Since about this time last year my visit to the site have been hit and miss. Keeping up when life runs smooth takes some effort. And we all knows what happens when curves develope in the roads of our lives. Something gives (usually those associated with glue of the family MOM). This year has been up and down for me with wonderful bit of travel with family, to a fall that has left very little quilting or quilting related activities for me. I had taken a fall in spring of 2009 that took me to this last summer to finally get mostly over when I tripped at work and fell giving myself severe whiplash to my upper back resulting in headaches and vision issues in addition to lack of upper body strength once again.
The highlights included a trip to my niece's wedding the past July and Christmas news that we will be getting a new grand person in June from them. This niece has suffered from Colitis since she was 12 which has eventually progressed to full blown Crohens. It is for her that I am requesting prays. Tommorrow as she finishes her 29th week of pregnacy she is to be opperated on for her Crohens. Please pray that all goes well with the surgery and that baby holds on and is not delivered early. So for Katrina and baby please put one out there. I know that God has a plan for each of us but I also believe in the power of prayer. My thanks to you all.

I sure understand about falling. The road back is long and hard, I know but with it comes wisdom and faith. Continue to take care of you and I pray that you just continue to heal and get better. Christi I have never commented on any post here. First, I just haven't had the time and many life issues also. But when I saw your post I felt I really needed to respond. I am so sorry that you have been going through a lot and I will most definitely keep you and your niece in my prayers.

So good to hear from you Christi. You have had quite a time of it that last couple of years. I'm so glad you have also had some enjoyable things too, with the wedding, etc. Yes, I will be praying for Katrina and for that little baby who has yet to enter this world, as well as for the surgeons.
