Quilt With Us

Hi! I live in ND just 18 miles from Montana and 45 miles from Canada. Way up north!

Every year I try to go some place different for either a quilt show with classes or a retreat. I've driven and flown so distance is okay. I'd love to head west and find a fun, new place to go. Any ideas?

Look up Rumpled Quilt Skins in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. That was my quilt shop hand out for the four years I lived in Calgary and the owner Linda is such a fantastic lady. Calgary also has an annual quilt show with classes, can't think of the name, and it also has an annual quilt show at their Heritage Park Historic Village.

Oops! I forgot to mention--Yellowstone Quil Fest is in Cody.

Come to Cheyenne, Wyoming in mid July! It's the annual meeting of Wyoming State Quilt Guild and is open to everyone. The website is www.wsgq.org. Dues are $20 and our annual meeting is 3 days of fun and classes.

Or, Yellowstone Quilt Fest in September--mostly a show but usually classes as well. www.yellowstonequiltfest.info.
